Orsa Lucille Preiss was born on August 6, 1932, and passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at age 93. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Alice White and Clinton Elliott White, three brothers (Elliott, Thatcher and Fred) and sister, Ruth. She is survived by her dear sister, Laura Cotter. Beloved wife of the late William S. Preiss, dearest mother of William A. Preiss (Terry) and Linda Lee Batterson (Brian); dear grandmother of Olivia, Allison and William (deceased 2015); dear great grandmother of Layla, Parker and Sage, aunt, great aunt and a dear friend to many.

Orsa was a gentle, loving woman devoted to family, friends and church, whose banner was love; she will be sorely missed. A Memorial Service in her honor will be celebrated at Sutter Presbyterian Church, 3500 Fee Fee Road, Bridgeton, MO, 63044 on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2PM. No visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Sutter Presbyterian Church (Happiness Fund) are appreciated.
