Patrice Stobie Priesmeyer
September 26th, 1946 – January 17th, 2025
Patrice Stobie Priesmeyer, affectionately known as “Trece,” was born on September 26, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, and passed away on January 17, 2025. Trece was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister to seven siblings. Her home was always open to the many who considered her a second mom.
As a dedicated nurse, Trece touched countless lives with her exceptional care and compassion. She received numerous letters of gratitude from patients and their families, a testament to her unwavering commitment to her profession.
Trece’s greatest joy came from her family. She fiercely loved her two sons, Patrick and Steve Priesmeyer, and cherished every moment spent supporting her five grandchildren—Grant, Taylor, Paige, Caden, and Tucker—whether at sports events or the theater.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons Patrick (Trisha) and Steve Priesmeyer, her five grandchildren, Grant Priesmeyer, Taylor Priesmeyer, Paige Priesmeyer, Caden Priesmeyer and Tucker Priesmeyer. Her siblings Joan Obermoeller, Jay Stobie, Bill Stobie, and Mary Jill Poncin. Patrice was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lavelle Stobie, her brother Mark Stobie, and her sister Jean Nagle and Frank Stobie.
Patrice’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of love for family and dedication to others will bring comfort to all who mourn her loss.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date to share stories and memories of Trece. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the St. Louis Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org/greatermissouri.
A wonderful friend and neighbor. My prayers go out to her and to her family.
