Patricia Anette Whitener

Patricia Annette Whitener became an angel on March 21, 2017 at DePaul Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri at 8:25 p.m.

Patricia was born to the late John and Ruth Stout on May 16, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri. Her brothers John and Roy Stout preceded her in death.

Patricia grew up in Ferguson Missouri and attend McCluer High School.

She is survived by her husband, Charles G. Whitener; four daughters and one son, Tammy (Don) Wilson, Tonet (Oliver) Hatton, Dawn Spreen, Tonya (Golden) Edmond III and Patrick Whitener. Sixteen Grandkids; Rachel Butza, Robert Butza Jr, Andrew Wilson (Crystal Milanowski), Zachary Wilson, Kirsten Hatton, Kenneth Hatton, Kyle Hatton, Vincent Spreen, Nickolas Spreen, Victoria Spreen, Alexander Spreen, Gary Washington Jr, Garion Washington, Jewel Washington, Golden Edmond IV and Kobe Edmond. Five Great-Grandkids; KaeLynn Butza, Addison Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Colton Spreen- Forshee and Bennett Washington-Hamilton. And one special sister/friend Linda Warren-Melton. Friends Jane Pursifull, who preceded her in death, Claudia Linton, Mary and Zoey Nguyen.

Patricia was a homemaker who loved kids and animals. Her hobbies were scrap booking, camping and supporting her grandkids in every sport.

Patricia would want us to continue to pray for her son-in-law Golden Edmond III and her two grandsons Alexander Spreen and Gary Washington Jr, who are currently serving our country.

Patricia was a very loving and patient person who wore her heart on her sleeve. She will be deeply missed by everyone she touched.

To honor her memory, we ask that donations be sent to any animal rescue organizations.
