Patricia Ann Clancy

Patricia Ann Clancy (nee King) passed away December 25, 2024 at her home at the age of eighty-eight. She was born October 15th 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Ioma King (nee Merritt), brothers Daniel and Kevin, sisters Gerri and Sandy, ex husband Richard Mead, and her beloved husband Brian Clancy.

She is survived by her sister Mary Ellen and brother Michael, her son Chris Mead (late Bonnie), stepchildren Tom Clancy, Dan (Corinna) Clancy, Dennis (Robyn) Clancy, Tamela Clancy, grandchildren Peter ( Renee), Marshall (Jennifer), Kacey, Kylie, Elizabeth (Chris), Julia (Eric), Olivia, Austin (Heather), Jonnae, Mikaela, Eli, twelve great grandchildren, many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Pat was a very involved resident of Meramec Bluffs LSS independent living in Ballwin, MO, where she made many great friends and a lasting impact. She enjoyed getting together with those friends and playing games, especially bridge, where it’s said she could get a little competitive. Pat enjoyed life very much. A big reason for that is because for the last twelve years she has been able to spend it with her best friend and partner, Henry Hoopes. The family would like to thank Henry for being such an important and special person in Pat’s final years. Thank you Henry for sharing a part of your life and your love with her. We know that she loved you very much (as we all do). You will always be considered family to us.

When you think of Pat, try to remember the happy times, the funny stories and all of the things that make you smile and laugh; that’s what she would want. Live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment you have, one day at a time.

Pat chose not to have a memorial service but will be cremated and her ashes buried with her late husband, Brian Clancy, at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
