Nene, Retta, Mr. Jinkerson and all the family. I am so very sad to hear that Mrs. Jinkerson was taken so young. Be happy knowing her suffering is over and celebrate her memory every day.

Pat was a great cousin. I remember years ago when she and Walter were at our house there were playing cards with my parents Pat also played cards with me. I always remembered that. Pat was one of my moms favorites. She was kind to everyone. May God grant her eternal life.

I was happy to see both of you today, but I wish it was under different circumstances. Your Mom would have been proud of you and how wonderfully everything was planned and carried out. It was a beautiful Mass and a fitting tribute to your great Mom. When I think of her, I mostly remember my time with her as my Scout leader. I had such a great time as a Girl Scout with her and all of my friends. Now as my daughter’s leader I always think, “What would Mrs. Jinkerson do?” I know if I follow her lead, it will be the right thing and I hope someday that my girls will think of me as fondly as I think her.
