Patricia Ann Lane (nee Lomas) passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026 at the age of 81. She was born in Bakersfield, CA on August 18, 1944 and is survived by her husband of 58 years, Belden. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Kate, granddaughter Ellie, brother Earl Lomas (Sue), and sisters Carol Mauk (Denzil) and Marion Shank.

For many years Patricia taught high school English and remedial reading in elementary schools. She was a quilter, making 58 quilts for veterans through the Quilts of Valor Foundation. She also loved traveling, reading, volunteer work at church, and gatherings with close Rockhaven friends.

The family requests donations in lieu of flowers made to the Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club, or Doctors without Borders.
