Patricia Ann Maher passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Maher; mother, Shirley Maher; son, David Wayne Maher who passed in 2008 at the age of 32; brother in law, Tommy (Tater) Grimes and great niece Aubree Marie Suraud.
She leaves to cherish her memories; daughter, Ashley Marie Maher; granddaughter, Kylie Nicole Maher; former beloved partner, Joseph Tatham; siblings, Donna (Dave) Bassett, Sharon Grimes, Martha (Brad) Logsdon, Charles Maher, Donald (Tina) Maher, Kathy Maher and Harold Maher; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Patti was a wonderful person who showed love to anyone she came in contact with. She raised her son and daughter to be strong, just as she was. Her motherly hugs and back tickles will forever be missed by her daughter. Her crazy, inappropriate, outgoing personality and unforgettable laugh will never be forgotten. To care for children, White Castles, playing Yahtzee, cooking and lifetime movies were a few of the things she loved most, but her world revolved around her children and granddaughter. She will live forever in our hearts.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms from too many people to name individually. Her daughter, Ashley, would like to personally thank everyone who has reached out to her in anyway. She is overwhelmed by the love and support she has received. She cannot thank those enough who have donated to make the service that will be given for her mother possible. And a special thanks to her “Seester” Cheryl Maher who has handled most of the arrangements for Ashley and has been her guardian thru this.
A Celebration of Life will he held for her at the chapel of St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Ave., St. Louis MO 63103 on Monday, December 26th, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (with a formal speaking service beginning at 4:30 pm).
