Patricia “Patti” Franklin

Patricia “Patti” A. Franklin, née McTeer, 60, of Belleville passed away at 4:22pm on August 4, 2013 at Belleville Health and Rehab among family.
Born January 30, 1953 in East St. Louis to Frances, née Nixon, and Harold McTeer. Patti worked as a nurse for 30 plus years and had owned her own home health care business (Care Givers) in Belleville. Patti was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and lived to spoil them.
Patti was an avid tennis player and a member of several tennis teams at the St. Clair Tennis club. She was also a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Belleville where she volunteered as a nurse.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Jeffery McTeer. Surviving are her two sons Jeffery (spouse Lauren) and Michael (fiancée Jenn) Franklin; grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Jeffery (Mac), and Isabella Franklin; her brother Harold (Nibs) Fisher and sister Lauren (Laurie) née McTeer, Saalfeld.

    I worked with Patti at Anderson Hospital. She was a wonderful nurse, so knowledgeable and caring. She will be truly missed. My condolences go out to her family. R.I.P Patti.
