Mell, Paul James (aka Jim), 91 died July 24, 2021 at his home in House Springs, Mo.

Paul was born in Fairview Heights, Illinois on April 22, 1930 to Paul and Josephine Mell. He graduated from Collinsville High in 1948 and joined the Air Force, where he trained in photography. He married Ellen Ford on May 18, 1957 in St. Louis, Mo. and made his career in photography, retiring from CPI Corporation in 1997. During his life, he designed and built his family home, learned to fly and enjoyed golf.

Paul is preceded by his parents and siblings Rose and Jack and will be greatly missed by his wife Ellen, siblings Tom, Margie and Kathy, his daughters Karen and Jennifer and grandchildren Jordan, Lauren, Ian, Emma, Eliza and Lucinda.
