Paulette Ritter Augé

Paulette Ritter Augé, after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, passed away peacefully in her home on May 17, 2020.She was surrounded by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jean-Pierre, her daughter Sophie, her son-in-law Tom and her grandsons Alexander and Christopher.
Paulette was a talented seamstress from Paris where she worked at Christian Dior until she became a mother and dedicated her life to her daughter Sophie. After emigrating to America, Paulette started her own business and became a very well-known seamstress in Ladue. Her clients admired not only her talents but her generosity and ever-sweet nature.
In her later years she became a proud grandmother to Alexander and Christopher, who became her pride and joy.
As the disease took hold, it never took away the love she felt for her family or her sweet spirit.
Her final resting place will be at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery Columbarium. A private ceremony will be held with family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association via their website.

I love you, Paulette. You are like an aunt to me. Your beautiful eyes were always shining and happy. You always cared so much for me and my family. I loved practicing my French with you because you were so gentle and encouraging. I will miss you, but I will treasure our memories forever.
