
Peggy Lou Watts
Peggy Lou Watts, 91, of Kirkwood, MO passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Peggy was born in Kansas City, MO on October 30th, 1933.
Peggy was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Novotny (nee Keeron), stepfather Gilbert Novotny, father, Floyd Passwater, and sister, Pat McDermott (nee Passwater).
Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her son, John Watts (Stephanie), daughter Cindy Watts (Kathy), grandchildren Travis Watts (Sheena), Lauren Watts (fiancé James), Shane Watts, and great-granddaughter, Lily Watts. Peggy also had nieces, a nephew, and half-sisters who she had lost contact with.
Peggy graduated from Columbia College. Peggy worked at an accounting firm when she was younger where she met her husband and the father of her children, John Watts. Peggy had various jobs in medical offices and worked as a substitute teacher. Peggy enjoyed being in nature and had a soft spot for animals. Peggy liked to stay active and especially enjoyed eating out and shopping at thrift stores. Peggy was also known for her orange lipstick that she wore quite well. Peggy spoke her mind and left an impression wherever she went and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Peggy wanted to help others and donated her body to Washington University, so there will not be any visitation or service. A celebration of life date will be determined.
