Perry T. Morrissey
Born September 15, 1957 in Chicago, IL to John and Stephanie Morrissey. Passed away, at age 59, on November 17, 2016 at home in the company of his family.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his sons Tracey and Russell Morrissey, their mother Donna Morrissey, his daughters-in-law Emily and Julie Morrissey, brothers Gary and Kerry Morrissey, and their families.
Perry lived his life with tremendous work ethic, beginning his professional life with Meldisco and proudly completing his career with the TJ Maxx family.
This tireless work ethic extended to his passion for those who need a hand up in this world. Perry fiercely believed in the future of our youth. He readily volunteered for the March of Dimes, honoring his empathy for those who are disabled. He extended this love for community by working with the YBI program, imparting knowledge , skills, and inspiration to young people facing social and personal obstacles, showing them the way to the opportunities they deserved.
No passion, however, equaled that of his love for his sons and his future grandchildren.
Memorial service will take place on Sunday November 20th at the Buchheit home 24 Manderly Place O’Fallon, MO 63366 from 2pm-8pm.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Perry’s honor to the American Cancer Society.

Tracey and Russell – My deepest condolences on the passing of your father. I had the pleasure of working with your Dad for several years on innovative ways to provide work opportunities for youth in our stores. He called me every few months with questions and new ideas. I am so thankful to have known him. My life is definitely better for it. Sending you hugs.
Sincere condolences to your family! It was a true pleasure working with Perry in the chicagoland area. We had many laughs and shared a common love of what we do in the crazy retail environment. My favorite memory is when we signed on to conference calls and did role calls he would enthusiastically say “Oh, thank god you’re here” when I announced my presence. He will truly be missed.
