In his later years, he enjoyed working at the Creve Coeur Golf Course, where his love for the game and his colorful personality made him a favorite among golfers and colleagues alike.
Peter will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and generous spirit. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A committal service with military honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Louis Fisher House in Peter’s memory.
Peter came into my life about 5 years ago and he will be missed. May he find eternal joy and rest with the Lord.
My prayers are with his family.
Uncle Peter was my best friend Jerry’s uncle (ergo, not mine lol). Peter was one of the nicest, most genuine adults I knew in high school. He famously owned an amazing Top of the line JBL Paragon speaker system for his hi-Fi and, unbelievably allowed the band to haul it to Troy Missouri for a gig (fine walnut veneer and all). He was just the most generous, kind guy any of us ever met. Rest in peace Peter, I hope there is a fine hi-Fi waiting for you playing the music of the angels.
