
Phillip Wyatt Lynn
We are sad to announce that Phillip Wyatt Lynn, 67, of St. Charles MO, formally of Madisonville Ky, passed away peacefully at his home in St. Charles on September 23, 2025, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.
Phillip was born on February 2, 1958, in Madisonville KY to the late J.L. Lynn and Ernestine Moore Lynn. He was also preceded in death by his dear brothers, Jerry Lynn, Jimmy Lynn and Barry Lynn.
Phillip loved his family and friends most dearly and always thought of others before himself. He was successful and incredibly talented as a designer, pianist, artist and gardener. He was extremely creative and would fashion beauty out of seemingly common items. He had a great sense of humor, beautiful smile and infectious laugh. He will forever be in our hearts!
Phillip is survived by his husband of 22 years and loving caregiver, Kurt Rehwinkel of St. Charles MO. He is also survived by his sisters, Yvonne Roth (Don) of Evansville, IN and Rita Roberts (Ronnie) of Nebo, KY. He is also survived by nieces, Serina (Shane) White, LaDonna Childers, Cathy (Ty) Taylor, Lindsey (Chris) Moore, Heather Roth, Jessi Davis, and Carrie Kirkwood. Nephews, Wesley (Amy) Lynn, Scott (Tina) Lynn, Jamie (Lydia) Lynn, Shawn (Heather) Lynn, Ryan (Jo) Roth and Todd Roth. Included are several great-nieces and nephews, and well as great- great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many close and wonderful friends in St. Louis, MO and his precious dog “Bentley”.
There will be a service celebrating Phillip’s life on Saturday November 22nd, from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Manchester United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
Phillip my beautiful brother, you have always been by my side since mom and dad brought me home from the hospital. I will be lost without you. I love you! You will be in my heart forever!!
Kurt, my love and thoughts are with you. I am so grateful for all your love and devotion you had for such an incredible man. You never gave up, and allowed Phillip to leave this life with dignity.
