Phyliss Ann Knittig
Phyllis Ann Knittig passed peacefully on May 2nd 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in St Louis on January 25, 1956 to Erma Jean McClain and Harold Dane Tucker. She is preceded in death by her daughter Hailey Welch and son Luke Welch.
She is survived by her son Stephen Welch. She was Granny to her grandson Jake Welch and granddaughter Erin Welch. She was also a mom to Jodi and Jerry King and Granny to Kylie King and she was a dear Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt, Great Great Aunt and best girlfriend too many.
A celebration of her life will be held at St Louis Cremation at 2135 Chouteau in St. Louis, Missouri on Wednesday May 14, 2025 from 2pm to 5pm including a service at 4pm.
There are no words – just memories that make me smile and feel sad at the same time. Oh the trouble we got ourselves in back in the 70’s. Thankful that many years later we reconnected through FB and even got to get together a few times. Fly high my beautiful friend ❤️
So many memories having known Phyllis since grade school. Blessed to have her as a friend and grateful to have been in touch most recently. No more pain as she is most likely tearing it up in heaven. You are already missed my friend
