Rainee Sinroll

Rainee Elizabeth Sinroll, née Calhoun, passed away peacefully at her sister’s home on February 20, 2024. Born on July 19, 1969, in Columbia, Missouri, Rainee was the beloved daughter of Sara Jo Biggs and the late J. Rockne Calhoun.

Rainee will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family. She is survived by her devoted children: Brittan Sinroll of New Boston, NH; Sona McDowell of Clayton, MO; Chance Sinroll of Phoenix, AZ; Matt Calhoun (spouse Brandi) of Columbia, MO; and Kaeden Jenkins of Columbia, MO. She also leaves behind her mother, Sara Jo Biggs (spouse Ray) of Sesser, IL; sister Randee Wahlgren (spouse Rob) of O’Fallon, MO; brothers Rich Eickelman of Valier, IL; and Joe Calhoun of Louisiana, MO. Rainee will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Rainee dedicated over 30 years of her life to the nursing profession, specializing in labor and delivery. A passionate advocate for her patients, she spent most of her career as a traveling nurse, which allowed her to explore different parts of the world. Rainee was enthusiastic about life and eagerly embraced new adventures. In 2023 alone, she embarked on 8 cruises, developing a passion for cruising.

Rainee was a dedicated mother, bookworm, and activist. She lived her life with a spirit of curiosity and compassion, always seeking to learn and help others. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rainee’s memory may be made to the St. Louis Crisis Nursery

    Had the pleasure of meeting this lovely lady and her family on a cruise. She was so joyful and friendly. I know the world is a little less bright without her in it. Sending warmest regards to her family
