    Ralph and I worked together as Policeofficers when I was assigned to the 8th police district from 1969 to 1973. Ralph was a “juvenile officer” at the time , and he helped me out many, many times.Ralph was on of the nicest people I ever met on the department. He was always laid-back , cool, and calm about everything. He always looked so young and fresh for his mature nature and was a real good person to work with.

    My condolence, and your family will be in my prayers.

    Paul R. Lee (SLMPD 1968-2004 )

    Dear Judy and family,

    I was so sorry to learn of Ralph’s death;
    it is so difficult to lose loved ones near the holidays. I was unable to come to
    the viewing or funeral due to other com-
    mitments, but will make a donation to the
    Backstoppers, who were extremely helpful to my husband’s cousin when she
    lost her firefighter husband. God bless
    all of you. Bonnie Dillard, classmate
    from Corpus Christi High School

    Judy,

    Ralph and I go back to the early 60s. One of the best riding partners I ever had. I was shocked to read of his passing in the Gerdarme today. You and the family have my deepest sympathy.
