    To Randy’s family:
I am so sorry for your loss. Randy and I grew up together as neighbors and had many fun times together. Our families were life-long friends. We even went camping together in South Dakota and spent time at Okoboji together having such fun at Arnold’s Park! Randy and I used to play table hockey in his basement and there were always those summer nights of Annie Annie Over at the Edge’s. In the winter, we would spend whole Saturdays and Sundays sledding down Hatcher’s Hill. I laughed until I cried the time Randy stood up on the toboggan and went down–of course ending in disaster! Randy was always very popular in school. I’m not sure just when he became “Harv” or why? but non-the-less he was always Randy to me and was always very nice to me. He was that guy that was nice to everyone. I know he will be terribly missed by everyone in his life, especially his loving family. No doubt you were his greatest joy. My heart goes out to each and every one of you and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
    With sympathy,
    Marcia Bjornson Ecker

So sorry to read this. I was a high school classmate at HHS and remember Randy and his family fondly. I had forgotten he had his dad’s name as his nickname – his whole life!
Loved seeing the photos on the slide show. Great memories for you all.
It is too bad our 50th class reunion was canceled two years ago (Covid). I always enjoyed seeing Randy and catching up when he attended reunions in the past.
God bless His family and those close to him.
