Randy Dame 12/14/2025

Randy Dame, 70, of High Ridge, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 14, 2025, at 11:27 p.m.

Randy was born on January 21, 1955, in Evansville, Indiana, to Estel Dame and Margaret (McDaniel) Dame. He grew up with a strong work ethic and a natural curiosity that stayed with him throughout his life.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, an experience that reflected his sense of duty and discipline.

Randy spent his career as a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist in the surgical instrument manufacturing industry. Highly skilled and innovative, he invented surgical equipment and held multiple patents, leaving a lasting mark on his field.

He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Marie (Boemler) Dame, and a devoted father to Ben (Susan) Dame and Christopher (Becca) Ellermann. He was preceded in death by his son, Josh Dame. Randy was a proud grandfather to Blake Dame and Chip Ellermann, and a cherished great-grandfather to Jackson Dame.

He is also survived by his sisters, Vickie Sparks and Rita Dockery.

Randy had endless talents and hobbies. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, archery, and golf. He enjoyed playing poker, as well as leather work and knife making, pursuits that highlighted his craftsmanship and creativity.

Above all, Randy loved animals. Over the years, he shared his life with countless cats and dogs, each one dearly loved and cared for, reflecting his deep compassion and gentle heart.

In accordance with his wishes, Randy did not want a formal funeral service.

In lieu of cards and flowers, memorial donations may be made in Randy’s honor to his two favorite charities: Stray Rescue of St. Louis and Open Door Animal Sanctuary.
