Reginald “Bud” Grober

Reginald (Bud) Grober passed away peacefully in St. Charles on
Wednesday, December 28th, 2016 at the age of 86.

Bud was born in Macon, Missouri on December 13th, 1930. He attended
Kirksville High School. Bud joined the Army his senior year and
served from 1948 to 1952. He was stationed in Germany, Switzerland and
Italy.

Upon his return he worked his entire career of 35 years with
Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and retired in 1987.

Bud was a faithful member of Harvester Baptist Church. Enjoyed
spending time with his family, volunteered for St. Peter’s Meals on
Wheels. He had a passion for football and Frank Sinatra.

Bud is lovingly remembered by his three children, Deborah Grober,
Rebecca (Grant) Hendrickson and Tod (Nancy Eimer) Grober. He is also
survived by two brothers, Gordon of Chicago and Robert of Seattle
along with 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Neva, stepson, and parents
Rollie and Hilda (Madders) Grober.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to
St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
