Renee Duggan

Renee Marie Duggan, youngest daughter of the late Jocille (Ackerman) and late John “Jack” Duggan was born on January 25, 1964. She passed away on September 10, 2017 at the age of 53. Renee was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kassandra “Kassie” M. Moore.
Renee was baptized at St. Francis De Sales Church, attended Bernard Elementary School & graduated from Mehlville Senior High School in 1982 before getting her degree in cosmetology. She continued as a hair stylist at the Glamourama and the James Gang Hair Salon for the rest of her 53 years.
She is survived by her brother, Michael John Duggan and sister Susanne Stacey Duggan, sister-in-law, Susan Joan (Wagner) Duggan and her 3 nephews, their wives, 1 niece and her husband: Patrick/Michelle Duggan, Matthew/Kelly Duggan, Timothy/Sharee Duggan, & Kerrie Jo (Duggan)/Greg Kelley.
Also surviving are her 10 GREAT-nieces & nephews: McKenzie, Jackson, Cooper, Marlee, Maxson, Samantha, Danielle, Luke, Aubrey & Isla,
Renee will be greatly missed by her family and her friends to the end, Ken Moore, Cashmere & John Cummings & Family, Pam & Charlie Birkenmeier, Tony & Jen Merritt, Gail & Jim Brumley & Family, Patti & Pete Fiordimondo and all of her many loyal friends and customers at the James Gang Hair Salon.
A Memorial Service is planned for October 14, 2017 at 2:00pm at Christ Community Lutheran Church, 1 ChristChurch Way, Columbia, IL, 62236, where Renee has been the Sunday morning nursery attendant for 17 years.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to Christ Community Lutheran Church or Stray Rescue in the name of her beloved, Pugsleigh, send a card of thanks to St. Anthony’s Medical Center 7100 nurses’ station in St. Louis for taking such good care of Renee in her last days or stop to give the gift of food to a homeless person whenever you can.
