My family lived down the hill from the Signaigos on Bemiston in the 60’s and early 70’s, and I played with Rhea, Toni, Terri, and John quite a bit. Rhea and her family were lovely people, and although we’ve lost touch, I think about them often. Their friendliness and neighborliness shaped me and are part of the person I’ve become. To Rhea’s family and friends, I’m so sorry for your loss.

I remember that Rhea was the first child I met on my first day of school in Miss Beaver‘s kindergarten. She was such a warm and kind soul. May God keep in protect her.

I’ll sure miss catching up with Rhea at the dentist office and the nice big hug that came with it. Loved hearing about her nieces and nephews. Prayers peace and love to the Signaigo family. Rest in peace Rhea.

In 1973 we moved into the barn red house at 321 N Bemiston (now a lovely townhouse) 3 houses down the hill from the Signaigos. Little did we know what a treasure we had found. Very soon our lives were part of this big Italian family…play mates, babysitters, helpers…it was wonderful to be neighbors. Our friendship with Toni and her family
continues still across the years and miles, but it was steady, kind Aunt Rhea that was always there woth a smile of blessing. With love and thanks. The Norths, Bill, Mary, Andy and Julia
