Rhoda Jean Watts of Mt. Vernon, IL, passed away on July 22, 2019. She was born July 31, 1950, in Oblong, IL, to parents D.L. (John) and Florence (Dennis) Martin. She married Steven L. Watts on November 28, 1970 in Oblong, IL. Steve precedes her in death.

Rhoda is survived by her three (3) children; Jason Watts and wife Lisa of Madison, MS; Justin Watts and wife Jean of Nevada, IA; Jessica Watts Miller and husband Daniel of St. Louis, MO; a nephew, Anthony Hale, of McCalla, AL; six (6) grandchildren: Jacie and Brody Watts of Madison, MS; Oliver and Annalynn Watts of Nevada, IA; and Otto and Cabanne Miller of St. Louis, MO. Her parents, three (3) siblings, two (2) nephews, one (1) niece, and one (1) grandson preceded her in death. Rhoda was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was a homemaker for most of her life. In recent years, she worked for the Dix-Kell Water and Sewer Commission.
