Richard L. “Dick” Gilbert, 88, of Winfield MO died on January 9, 2019, at SSM Lake St. Louis Hospital after a long illness. Born in rural Lamont OK, he was a Navy veteran, graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and professional civil engineer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judith Gilbert; a son Brandon Gilbert and companion Karen Gallino; daughter Ruth Vertrees and husband Keith Vertrees; daughter Mary Noble and husband Duke Noble, as well as grandson Dan Anderson; granddaughter Linda Shepard and husband Matt; granddaughter Giulia Gallino; and former son-in-law Mark Anderson.
