Richard Wood Beloved husband of Janet Wood of Ofallon MO passed away 05/16/2020 at St Joseph West Hospital.
Richard was retired from Coca Cola, He loved to fish and conversing with his friends and family. During the summer he loved to bar-b-que and have pool parties.
He leaves behind 3 Daughters Marsha Elsea of Old Mines MO, Chrissy Wood of Bonne Terre MO, Joyce(Dale) Brayfield of Ofallon MO, 4 Granddaughters, 6 great grandchildren. Brothers Allen (Dixie) Wood of Perryville, Roger Wood of Arnold. Many nieces and nephews and a lot of great friends.
Proceeded in death by his parents Chalmer and Rita Wood of Perryville. Brother Melvin (Bo) Wood , Sister Joyce Klump, Sister Cindy Prost, Grandson Curtis Herndon
Dear Coca-Cola Man/ Bubba/ Richard,
Thank you for making my childhood so amazing. One of my favorite memories was coming over to your house when I was little for popsicles, swimming, and just spending time with you and Jan Wood. Not to mention all of your beautiful puppies that I got to see Like GiGi. You are finally reunited with her. You’re an amazing person and God really did gain an angel. You’re heart was pure gold!

Thank you, for giving me such a great childhood and checking in on me after I moved out on my own. Teaching me to love everyone unconditionally and to have such a big heart. Now that I live in my own house I alway keep popsicles in my freezer for the neighbor kids! I’ll miss you’re funny stories and hanging with your family♥️
What a wonderful neighbor, friend and generous person you have been to many! You were always helping your friends, family and neighbors with anything they needed help with. You are a wonderful person and am so thankful you were my neighbor. You will be misses!
