Richard “Pete” Scott

Richard “Pete” Scott, passed away on March 29th surrounded by his family whom he cherished. He gave up his fight with colon cancer with dignity, strength and peace.

Pete lives on in the hearts of his sweetheart, Connie, his children Michelle Rezek (Steve), Steve Scott (Katie) and Brian Scott and his grandchildren Adam Morgan (Amanda), Nicole Morgan (Johnny) and Noah Scott who will carry on his legacy; step-son, James Nerviani (Jen) & Kailee Marie Nerviani and of course, puppy Chloe who misses him a lot.

He has joined his Mom, Clara Scott, his dad John Scott, and siblings Mary Pike and Judy Long, brothers in law Richard Pike, Pat Switzer, Donald Stockton and Dennis Turner for a long awaited reunion. I am thinking baseball, brats, a couple of beers and a Winston cigarette will be involved.

Pete leaves behind his siblings, Martha Switzer, Delbert Scott (Jan), John Scott (Josephine), Charlie Scott (Angie), Bob Scott (Gloria), David Scott (Barb), Mike Scott (Carol), Janet Stockton, Barbara Turner and Mark Scott whom he loves so much.

His Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Dr., Fenton, MO 63026 at 1:00pm Friday, April 6th. Lunch will follow at Jilly’s Café, 1630 Gravois Road, High Ridge, MO 63049 (take a left at Little Brennan Road).

Please join us to send him home in celebration and song.

Uncle Pete was a good man, and I’ll miss him.

Will never forget him taking me fishing, and frog-gigging, when I was a little guy. And I’ll never forget talking music with him as I got older. He always took and interest, and always treated people like they matter.

Condolences to the family. And love from Cindy and me.
