Richard Wayne Williams

Richard Wayne Williams, 76, passed away Thursday, May 25th, 2017. Richard (Rich, Dick, Digger) lived in High Ridge and House Springs, Missouri, most of his adult life, and had recently moved to a senior living community in Fenton, Missouri. While admitted at St. Clare Hospital, he walked through in his sleep.

Richard was born in St. Louis on November 6, 1940. He was a proud alumnus of Parkway High School. He worked at Pevely Dairy in St. Louis for over 30 years, making many lifelong friends, and spent his retirement years doing what he did best — generously giving his time and resources and lending a helping hand wherever he could to his family and friends. He was a dear friend to many, a cherished father, grandfather and brother, and will be greatly missed.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Ova and Freeda Williams, and siblings, Harold Williams, Betty Vaughn, Carl Williams, Carol Ray, and Gary Williams. He is survived by siblings, Doris Kutheis, Ronald Williams, and Kenneth Williams, his children, Mark Williams and Kim Williams Lin, and grandson, Joseph Lin.

Richard chose to be cremated; a memorial service will be held at a later date.

    Thanks for sharing the touching biography and photos. Both of us have gone through the difficult journey of taking care of dying parents, and the grieving process that follows. We are here for you.
