It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Anthony Jones, affectionately known as Bobby, of South St. Louis. Bobby passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 58. He was born on January 24, 1965.

Bobby is survived by his loving younger brothers, Tim (Karlise) and Kevin (Amy), his nieces Lauren, Tabitha, Catherine, and Ashley and his nephews Patrick and Matt (Kenway).

Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved Paula (Promnitz), his sons David (Viggers) and Arric (Anderson), and his father Robert Jones. He was also joined by his mother, Jay Jones, on October 29, 2023.

Bobby “MF” Jones was a true outdoorsman who found joy in activities such as golfing, grilling, fishing, hunting, and preparing the pool for summer. He had a deep passion for nature and enjoyed spending time in its embrace.

For 25 years, Bobby served as a proud journeyman for the IEBW Local 1, he made many friends & fed and housed many brothers over the years.

A visitation will be held on December 9, 2023, starting at 9am, followed by a mass at 10am at St. Joseph’s Church located at 6020 Old Antonia Rd, Imperial, MO 63052.

A Celebration of Life will take place on December 10, 2023, from 12pm to 6pm at the IBEW Union Hall located at 5850 Elizabeth Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110. Food and drinks will be provided as we gather to remember and honor Bobby’s life.
