Robert Cook

Robert “Bob” L. Cook, Jr., 87, of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and cherished memories.  

Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Ann, with whom he shared a lifetime of adventures that spanned the globe. Their travels created lasting memories, and they shared joy in exploring the world together. He is also lovingly remembered by his children: Jeff (Rebecca) and Cindy (Nick), grandchildren and great grandchildren.   

Born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Bob’s life was one of dedication to his family, his community, and his country. He served with distinction in the Air National Guard Reserves, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring in December 1990. He worked as a manager in procurement for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing until retiring in December 2000. 

He was an avid bridge player and had a weekly game for many years with friends. He enjoyed watching war movies and ACORN tv. Bob also delighted in visiting theme parks, a fondness which he passed down to his children and grandchildren. 

A private service was held to honor his life.  May those who knew Bob find solace in the warmth of their memories and carry forward his legacy of love and dedication.
