His soft-spoken southern accent always made him seem the perfect gentleman. His graduation recital at Drury was that of a perfect pianist. His gigs with Springfield, MO dance bands and with Gaslight Square jazz bands were probably closer to his liking and always entertaining. May he rest in peace…

I think of you often, Bobby, I was a young guitarist/singer in St. Louis in the mid 70’s and we had a good time jamming and hanging out and I also played at Duffs regularly. I am legally blind so we had a lot in common. You were a brilliant pianist and I had so many good times with you. Rest in peace.
