Robert Thomas Clark

Robert Thomas Clark, age 71 , passed away peacefully in his sleep at the caring and loving community of St.James Veterans Home on the night of February 25th 2019. Robert was born November 19th 1947 in St.Louis Missouri to Fred Verbal and Wilma Grace (Womack) Clark. He served in the United States Marine Corps from April 27th 1967 to April 26th 1971. During that time Robert was stationed at Camp Pendleton and served in the Vietnam war, earning the rank of Sergeant. After being discharged he worked as maintenance man and for the Forestry Department. Robert was also an accomplished and passionate artist specializing in pointillism. He touched many live with his love for art and Rock’n’roll. He was the type of man that never met a stranger and enjoyed volunteering for/with his fellow Veterans. He is survived by his children Stephany and Robert Clark; grandchild Harrison Clark; siblings, Donald R. Clark, Diane K. Trunk, Cynthia S. Finazzo, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brothers James D. Clark, Fred (Sonny) E. Clark.

Services: Interment at Jefferson Barracks on Friday, April 5th, 2019 at 11:30am at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
