Rochelle Bradford-Jones
Atlean and Beatrice Bass welcomed their beautiful baby daughter,Rochelle on August 17, 1956. Both parents preceded her in death.Rochelle was the youngest of ten siblings, four preceded her in death, two sisters Shirley Brown and Adeline Reese and two brothers June Bass and David Jones.
Rochelle attended Soldan High School. Afterward, she worked hard and quickly moved up into management at several local restaurants which included White Castles, Church’s, and Popeyes. She met and married the love of her life Jerome Bradford in 1975. She had three children she loved dearly Angelo, Jerome, and Ronnisha.
As a young woman, she loved to cook, keep things neat and clean, roller skating, and living life to the fullest. She worked hard and played even harder. She had a way of spreading a little love as humbly and gently as no one else could. Her joyful spirit drew people to her. She always had a smile on her face and loved to make those around her laugh. She had a way of lightening up a room with her very presence.
On November 29, 2021, Rochelle (that light) departed this life and transitioned to her eternal home.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Jerome Bradford, her three children Angelo Jones (LaToya), Jerome Jones, and Ronnisha Jones; her 6 grandchildren Angelo Jr, Aleishea, DeAngelo, Tranay, Akira, and Paris; 2 great-grandchildren; six siblings Emma Jean, Otis (Red),Ruben, Louise (Ben), and Atlean; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
