Roger Joseph Miller

Roger Joseph Miller passed away in St. Peters, MO on Friday, April 16, 2021, at the age of 82. Roger grew up in the catholic faith and was baptized, confirmed, and graduated 8th grade at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Shrewsbury.

After high school, he joined the navy and was honorably discharged after completing his duty. He then attended Parks College of Aeronautical Technology through St. Louis University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Roger worked as an aeronautical engineer most of his life. He not only enjoyed working on planes, but discussing every detail about them to anyone that would listen

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Helen; three sisters, Helen Ann, Margaret (Tony), and Joan (Harry); and two brothers, Bill (Rosie) and Charlie (Joan). He is survived by his two sisters, Judy (Bob) and Evelyn (Jerry); three children, Thomas, Wendy, and Cynthia (David); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 7622 Sutherland Avenue, Shrewsbury, MO 63119 on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00am. A private, military honors committal service will then be held at Jefferson Barracks.

    He was my mentor in Aerospace. I also worked with him at General dynamics in San Diego and again in Lake Charles Louisiana work. It was an awesome mentor and a wonderful guy. Thanks, ROGER.
