Roger Paul Huber
Roger Paul Huber, age 74, of Saint Louis, Missouri went to be with the Lord on
Friday, August 20, 2021. He was a native of Perryville, Missouri, and the only child of
George and Marie (nee Flieg) Huber.
Shortly after graduating from St. Vincent High School in Perryville, MO., Roger enlisted in
the United States Navy and completed training to become a Hospital Corpsman.
Roger proudly served as active duty and in the Naval reserves during Vietnam until
his honorable discharge in 1971 from Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton,
Florida.
After finishing his years in the United States Navy, Roger worked as a sheet metal worker for Hussmann Corporation and a member of the United Steelworkers Local 9014 in Bridgeton, Missouri for 44 years, retiring in 2016.
His greatest source of pride, however, was his family. Roger is survived by his
loving wife of 43 years, Lawana (nee Buchheit) Huber, his children Travis (Jennifer)
Huber, Jessica Huber, and Chelsea (Derick) Farmer. He also leaves behind his
treasured grandchildren: Elise and Caroline Huber; and Sawyer and Hattie Farmer.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 9 AM; Mass will begin at 10 AM
at Seven Holy Founders Church

Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
