Ron Jung

Ron Jung passed away on 05/07/2020 at 84 years old. Ron is going to be greatly missed and survived by his wife, Charlene (nee Reeves), and his three sons Rick (Jenn) Jung, Mike (Jamie) Jung, and John (Megan) Jung, and his four grandsons Alex, Myles, Oliver, and Jack, dear brothers Robert “Bob” (Carol) Jung and the late John (Charlotte) and sisters, Bernice “Bunny” (Mel) Ronecker and the late Janet (Ken) DeClue and Louise (Emeil) Weigand and many nieces, nephews, cousins. He was so proud of all his family. Ron was born in Affton, MO where he resided throughout his life. He attended Seven Holy Founders and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. Ron was a carpenter by trade and a business owner. He owned what was one of Affton’s landmarks, “Ron and Bob’s Liquor”, with his childhood friend and classmate. He also had a construction company and loved working on people’s homes and creating new friendships. Anyone that met Ron knew he was an “unemployed comedian”. He enjoyed making people laugh and feel good about themselves. Ron will truly be missed and loved by the people who knew him.
