Ronald J. Brinkman
Ronald J. Brinkman of Lake St. Louis, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014. Beloved husband of Mary Jane (Callahan) Brinkman and devoted father of Kelly Brinkman, St. Louis, and Michael (Mary) Brinkman, Jackson, MN. Born in June, 1935 in Decatur, IL to Elmo and Violet Brinkman, he was the oldest of six children, which include Lynn Brinkman of Decatur, IL; Diane Fairbanks (Terry) of St. Louis; Julie Clark (Dan) of Indianapolis, IN; Casey Langdon (Mike) of Cincinnati, OH; Mark Brinkman (Victoria) of Olathe, KS. In addition Ron leaves behind 8 much loved grandchildren in Jackson, MN – Joseph, Abby, Molly, Jack, Grace, Ava, Sam and Lily as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ron graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1957. He began his career in sales and marketing in Chicago. After 16 years with Sears, he left to manage a glove manufacturing plant in Fort Dodge, Iowa and ended his business career here in St. Louis where he worked as a financial counselor.
The funeral Mass will be on Saturday, November 8 at 11am at St. Patrick’s Church, located at 405 S. Church St., Wentzville, MO 63385. Attendees are invited to join the family at a reception in the church hall following the mass. His body will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church or the charity of one’s choice.

Ken and I are deeply saddened to learn of your recent loss. Ron was a terrific guy and will be sorely missed. He has left so many of us with wonderful memories. We’ll never forget the good times in Lisle, Door County, etc. etc.
