Ronald Joseph Schutte

Ronald Joseph Schutte passed away peacefully at Evelyn’s Hospice House on February 9, 2026 at the age of 86. He was born in Festus, MO on March 15, 1939.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jerry J. and Pearl (Gibbons) Schutte, and his brothers, Robert and C. Edward Schutte.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Pauline Clampit Schutte.

Ronald will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Veronique Schutte Nicklas, S. Monique Dattilo, L. Chantal Stapleton, his grandchildren, Aaron Nicklas, Heather (Wiegraffe) Dattilo, Melissa (Westbrook) Dattilo, His great grandchildren, Luke Nicklas, Harper Nicklas, Ashton Wiegraffe, Olivia Wiegraffe, Ayla Westbrook, and Liana Westbrook.

After being drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War, he worked his entire career at McDonnell Douglas (Boeing).

Some of Ronald’s hobbies included archery, fishing, imperial swing dancing, finance, speaking French, playing cards and he loved telling dad jokes.

Service: The service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on February 18, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Evelyn’s Hospice House appreciated.
