1939 — 2022

Rosalinda “Linda” Dangremond passed away on November 28, 2022, succumbing to the long-term effects of Alzheimer’s disease and more recently, breast cancer.  

Linda and her twin sister Norma were born in 1939 in Manila, Philippines to their parents Alfredo and Herminia. 

After graduating from University of Santa Tomas in Manila with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, she immigrated to the United States to work as a management consultant for Arthur Anderson in the Chicago area. She later became an accounting manager at United Airlines, which allowed her to travel to countries all around the world. After dedicating time to raising her children, she enjoyed a second career as a real estate agent. She loved meeting new people and helping her clients find their perfect homes. Linda enjoyed many years of retirement in Arlington Heights, Illinois before moving to The Fountains of West County, an assisted living and memory care facility in Ellisville, Missouri in December 2015.

Linda is survived by her former spouse Don Dangremond and their daughters Julie (James) Stanton of Bishop, Georgia and Pamela (Joe) Betz of Ballwin, Missouri. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Spencer and Cooper Stanton and Avery and Alex Hermann; her sister Hermie Blanchard; and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Norma Cusi and Amor Carrion.

Linda loved cooking from scratch and enjoyed preparing a variety of signature dishes, including egg rolls, fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and paella. She also enjoyed gardening and taking walks with her friends. After retiring, Linda was an active member of her local senior community center where she took painting classes and dance lessons. She loved going on annual vacations with her best friends Lulu Fabros, Josie Kulkarni, Mabel Hoffman, and Luz Aquino. She was also very close to her sisters and spoke on the phone with them daily. 

A private graveside service and interment of ashes will be held at Linda’s family burial site in California at a future date.
