Walston, Roy Hugh, 97, passed away on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025.

Roy was born on August 24th, 1927. Raised in Des Moines, IA, he graduated high school prior to serving in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Subsequent to his service, he enrolled at Drake University. Upon graduation, Walston joined Pet Incorporated in St. Louis as a senior accountant until retirement after nearly 40 years.

Roy had a passion for fishing, and Cardinals baseball. He thoroughly enjoyed family time.

Beloved husband to Marilyn L. Walston; dear father of Craig (Andrea), Brian (Debra), Keith (Danette) and Kent (Seung) Walston; grandfather of Stephanie (Matthew) Pfingsten, Dawn (Toty) Walston, Tyler (Christine) Walston, Steven (Angie) and John (Hanna) Lee; great-grandfather of Ryan, Leslie, Evan, Eden, Liam, Ezra, Sophia, Lena, Margot.

Memorial Service: Friday, March 28th, 10AM at Gambrill Gardens Senior Apartments, 1 Strecker Road, Ellisville, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
