Karen
Karen,
Rita and I will be unable to attend the March 21 service but will be making a donation to St. Mark’s in Roy’s honor. I am disappointed that we cannot be there.
I always enjoyed seeing Roy in church. He was a friendly and approachable person and did your family proud. Roy always seemed to have a good story or anecdote to pass on.
Rita’s and my most sincere condolences on his passing. Heaven has gained a good person.
Roy was a very dear friend and beloved colleague. When I knew I would see him soon, I would wonder what funny story or provocative saying he would throw my way to begin our conversation. He always got a twinkle in his eye just before he started in to get my goat. I was so fond of him.
Jesus, time to watch your back. There’s another jokester in heaven and he’s a good one!
Sending our deepest sympathy to all who grieve the loss of their dear family member and friend.
God bless you all.
Roy visited Bellingham WA to spend a week with his his cousin John Watts , a close friend of my wife and I, and many others. Roy had a engineer’s dry humor, and generous spirit with Omaha steaks arriving during and after his visit. Roy and John put me to work on the grill.
Have fun Roy out there in the universe.
