Rudolph Wayne Kull

Rudolph Wayne Kull of Imperial, MO, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026 at the age
of 92. Wayne was born on July 21, 1933 to Bessie Ogle Kull and Rudolph Kull in St. Louis, MO.
After graduating from Bayless High School in 1951, he worked for Loughborough Auto Body for
many years. Following retirement, he took a part-time job at the Festus Walmart, where he
celebrated twenty years of employment on February 26th. He married Jacqueline (Jackie)
Hauser in 1952, and together they shared 73 years of life’s joys and sorrows. Wayne
enjoyed classic cars, his many pets, and feeding wild deer and raccoons every evening. As a
good carpenter and handyman, he was known for his willingness to help anyone.

Wayne was a proud veteran, having served in the National Guard during the Korean War. His
main problem, he said with a smile, was that his claustrophobia made sitting in a tank
impossible, so they left the hatch open during his training.

Wayne is survived by his wife Jacqueline; daughters Sherry, Cynthia (Philip) Carlton, and Cathy
Sutler; his grandchildren Stephanie Sutler (Kurt) Engle, Stephen Sutler, and Steven Carlton
(deceased); his great-grandchildren Jaxon and Sadie Engle; his sister Sharon Kull Bradford; and
many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on March 16 th at First Baptist Church of Arnold. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations in Wayne’s name may be made to:
First Baptist Church of Arnold
