Russell Alan Hoeltge

Russell Alan Hoeltge born July 14,1953 in St. Louis, MO to the late Wilson and Cecelia (nee Tylke) Hoeltge died April 3,2016 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Russell retired from the City of St. Charles where he was a firefighter for many years.

Russell Alan Hoeltge is survived by his devoted wife Deborah (nee Parker) Hoeltge; son Michael James Hoeltge; one sister Sandra ( Val) Romay; three brothers Gene ( Marge) Hoeltge, Tom (Alice) Hoeltge and Gary (Margie) Hoeltge; dear nieces, nephews, cousins and his 4 legged best friend Kraytos. Russell will be missed by many.

Service arrangements: Visitation at St. Louis Cremation 320 Jungermann Rd. St. Peters, MO 63376 from 10AM-12PM, memorial service at 12PM. Burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery 2900 Sheridan Rd. St. Louis, MO 63125 at 1:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis at www.strayrescue.org/donationdrive.

    What a shock.

    I would always call him the “hulk” after he started working out many years ago and I still have a note he wrote me saying “hi” from “The Hulk” in one of my old helmets I wore in St. Charles. We were both on C Shift.

    Captain Laird also of C Shift also passed last week.
