Russell Jae Ashlock, 59, of Barnhart, Missouri, passed away on March 11, 2022. On August 14, 1962, Russell was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Tommy Ashlock and Joan Walker. 

Russell is preceded in death by his lover and companion of 36 years, Kimberly Ann Harmon. 

Russell is lovingly remembered by his son Rusty J. Ashlock; Granddaughter, Jardyn Ashlock; three siblings, Kimberly Burnell, Tracy Harmon, and Timothy Ashlock; Jason & Jennifer Schroder, Shelby Harmon; Chris & Crystal Harmon; Dylan & Logan Ashlock; Jeff and Tiffany Riddle; a great uncle to eight nieces and five nephews; Brother-in-law Herman D. Harmon, and Harvey Riddle; sister-in-law, Brenda Riddle. 

Russell was a good friend to many; he loved to help people in any way he could. Russell’s huge heart allowed him to meet people from all walks of life. He would provide rides to countless people, some of whom he had just met. In addition, he provided food for those in need. Russell was a good friend and a caring man. He loved his family and friends; above all, he was a lover of animals and enjoyed the outdoors with family and friends. 

For a living, Russell would remodel homes. In addition, Russell enjoyed float trips and camping with friends and family. Russell’s service was entrusted to St. Louis Cremations and will reside alongside his mother at his sister Tracy’s home. Russell will be missed but never forgotten by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
