Russell “Russ” Alan Roth
Russell “Russ” Alan Roth, of Wildwood, MO, was born May 26, 1952, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Lester A. Roth, Sr. and June G. Roth. He left our worldly life and entered his eternal life on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 27 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Scott A. Roth; and one brother, Lester A. Roth, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Linda Roth (nee Hoffman); two daughters, Carrie Abboud of Fenton, MO and Lisa Wittman of High Ridge, MO; two step daughters, Cherie (Tim) Messina of Wildwood, MO and Carisa (John) Pursell of Cape Girardeau, MO; ten grandchildren; Ellie, Chase and Blake Wittman; Samantha Scholtz and Chance Abboud; Catherine, Abigail & Andrew Messina; Benjamin and Mackenzie Pursell.
He is also survived by one brother, Don Roth of Cedar Hill, MO; three sisters, Jackie (Buddy) Salter of Atlanta GA, Pat (Wayne) Bauman of Imperial, MO and Marilyn Steinmeyer of House Springs, MO, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Russ grew up in High Ridge, MO and entered the Army after graduating from Northwest High School. He then married, had children and began a career at American National Can Company, where he retired early after 25 years. He returned to college and earned his Associate’s degree and started a new career with the State of Missouri’s Employment Office, where he retired in November 2020.
Russ married the love of his life, Linda, in 2000. He was a devout Christian that shared his faith and love of the Lord with all he knew. He attended The Crossing in Fenton, MO where he had amazing relationships with all that fellowshipped with him. His most treasured worldly possession was his girls and later the joy of being a “Poppy” to 10 of his favorite humans. He loved spending time with his family and his dearly beloved King Charles Cavalier, Dudley. Russ spread kindness, love and happiness every day of his life and will be greatly missed by all the lives that he touched along the way. Our world was definitely much brighter in his presence.
Memorial visitation will be held at The Crossing, 1800 Bowles Ave, Fenton, MO 63026 on Thursday, April 28th from 5:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 6:00 pm.
Internment service will take place on Friday, April 29th at 10:30 am at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St Louis, MO 63125 with full military honors.
I always loved his humor , caring and loving ways I will always remember being introduced to The Carpenters by Russell he would dance and sing along with his record player acting silly He always found happiness.

Gone way too soon
If all the men in the world were as fine as Russ, what a fine world it would be.
Russ, We will miss your kindness and humor throuģh the rest of our lives. We rest a lttle better knowing you are now among the rest of a lot of military heros including many of our family members. May God bless you, the way you blessed many of us.

Russ was a man that brought love and caring into the world to so many. He made life better for everyone he touched. Russ will be missed greatly!
