Ryan Wills

Ryan was born on August 15, 1984 to Charles and Cindy Wills of Cedar Hill, Missouri and passed away on October 24, 2023.

Ryan graduated from John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in 2003 where he was an active soccer and track and field athlete. He attended Truman State University where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2007. Ryan continued his education at the University of Missouri and earned his Juris Doctorate (JD) and was published in several law reviews. Ryan was a practicing attorney in the St. Louis area, enjoyed hiking and was an avid fan of all St. Louis sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals.

Ryan was joined in his life’s journey by his life partner, Ashley Manzy.

Ryan is survived by parents Cindy and Chuck, sister Emily (Doug), nephew Theodore, brother Josh (Amanda), and many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandfather Walter Wills, grandfather Herbert Hotop, and cousin Logan Hotop.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 from 8:30-10:00 AM at St. John’s the Beloved Disciple Catholic Church located at 4614 Blue Springs Dr, Imperial, MO 63052.

Ryan’s Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM immediately following the Visitation at St. John’s the Beloved Disciple Catholic Church.

    We are so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family.

    Oh the memories from the JFK carpool: Playing with the power windows and talking about anything the boys wanted just to see if they could shock me! Yes, it was hard keeping my cool. The best memory was taking all three boys to 6 Flags to complete a job application. They all returned with a summer job. They were hired on the spot!
