Salvatore Giuseppe Falcone (1934 – 2025)

With heavy hearts we share the peaceful passing of Salvatore Giuseppe Falcone, on October 18th, 2025 at the age of 91. Born on January 18th, 1934 in Alia, Sicily to Vincenza and Matteo Falcone, Sal was known for his kindhearted and generous nature and was beloved by many.

Sal is survived by his sons, Salvatore Jr, Matteo, Michael, and Roberto Falcone; his cherished grandchildren Kevin, Isabella, Olivia, Gianna, Alexander, and Giovanni; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Raine; twin brother Gaetano (Renate), brother Joseph (Allison), sister Rosa Schultes (William), Maria Crawford (Charlie), and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Matteo Falcone (1999), mother Vincenza (nee Campieri, 1993), brother Damiano (2011).

An extremely gifted tailor, Sal began his legendary career at a very young age learning the trade at a major tailoring house in Milan. He became a Master Tailor and the owner of Sal Falcone Custom Tailor LTD, in Frontenac, MO which was known for his custom suits using the finest materials. Sal was named the Finest Tailor in St. Louis by Esquire Magazine.

Sal was known for his bright smile, amazing cooking, his love of grilling and unwavering dedication to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength and love that will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know him. Sal was deeply loved by many and will be missed immensely.
