Most importantly, Sal found joy in spending time with friends and family and making those around him laugh.
Per Sal’s request, arrangements will be private.
Sal was a humble guy and well liked by everyone as you can tell from the many FB posts. He will no doubt be missed.
We all loved Sal. He gave me many, many cooking tips and we always enjoyed going over family recipes. Loved his laid back attitude and dry sense of humor. Every one of us loved him and we shared so many good times together from the time we were toddlers until now. When we saw him about a month ago he still had a desire to go fishing and said he loved the peacefulness of his favorite trout stream. May he rest by that stream and find the peacefulness that he deserved. We will miss him.
Rest in peace, Sal❣
As your fellow classmate from WGHS and first generation Italian-American, we shared both a love for cooking and a love for troutfishing in Missouri streams.
May your family find peace in their memories of your love and zest for life. 🙏❤🕊
The man, the myth, the legend – he will always be…
I have, and will continue to think of you often, Sal.
A great chef, a great old friend, a great person, and the source of many great times and smiles! ‘Still love you Sal, and glad to have another Angel like you watching over us. My love to ALL of your family, both here and there.
Amen.
Lots of great memories growing up around that wild and crazy group of my favorite Italian family. Will always be grateful for the friendships it brought me. Hope you find peace and the best trout fishing ever.
Sal will be missed so very much from his Nothing Bundt Cakes family!! He was more than an asset to us while he worked part-time!! He made us food, made us laugh and most importantly was a friend to all of us!! May he rest in peace!!
Sal was a good man. I enjoyed fishing with him on one occasion and he was a great chef. We enjoyed eating his delicious meat balls when he visited and cooked for us. My son and his friends played a card game and Sal won! I will never forget how stunning his eyes were.
