Samuel Wall

Samuel Jon “Sam” Wall age 32, of Imperial, Missouri, passed away on June 25th 2024 in the comfort of his home.  Samuel was predeceased by his Maternal grandmother, Darlene Carroll, Paternal grandparents, Don and Pauline Wall, and cousin, Anne Carroll Dwinell. Sam was born to Paul and T.C. Wall on December 16, 1991 in Springfield Missouri. He was baptized in the Christian faith in the Niangua River, witnessed by his Journey Christian Church family when he was nine years old. A 2010 graduate of Bolivar High School, Sam was a concrete finisher by trade. An incredibly hard worker, he was well-respected for his quality workmanship and strong work ethic.

Nature and the Missouri woods and streams brought Sam much joy.  As a young boy he loved spending time at his grandparents’ farm, hunting and fishing with his dad and simply spending quality time on the wide front porch with family or in the yard and garden with his grandma, sister, and cousins.  As a young man, the farm continued to be a special retreat, and weekend and vacation trips with family to the lake or beach also became a treasured tradition.

Sam was a perceptive person who cared deeply for his family. Allison, his wife of nine years and Thomas, their precious three-year old were the light of his life.  He also enjoyed connecting and spending time with his immediate and extended family on weekends and much anticipated vacations. Active in the recovery community, Sam developed many committed and caring friendships through the years.

Sam will be lovingly remembered by wife Allison, and son Thomas Dean, of the home, Parents, Paul & T.C. Wall; sister, Emma Wall; paternal grandparents, Jon (Ann) Carroll; father and mother-in-law, Thomas & Barbara Torno; sister-in-law, Emma (Brice) Clark; aunts, Anna Carroll,  Elizabeth (Rick) Clemens, and Leasa (Curtis) Quick; uncles, David (Angela) Wall, Mitchell (Susie) Carroll, and Tim (Jena) Carroll; cousins Michael (Cassie) Carroll and Jennifer (Joey) Beam; Ethan and Maggie Graves; Maddy and Bailey Fleetwood; Eli and Will Clemens; Rachel, Joshua, Nathan and Matthew Quick; Serra (Brandon) Hart; and Lyndsey Wall. As well as a host of extended family and friends.

Samuel was deeply loved by his family and friends and brought much joy during his time here on Earth. He will be deeply missed until we meet again.

Sam was an amazing man to get to know and work with. Being able to watch Sam be a father and a husband would light up his face whenever he would be on the phone with them. I’m so grateful to have had even a small opportunity to know him and Allison.
