Shannon Martin Fontanilla

Shannon Fontanilla, 51, of St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2021.
Beloved husband of 5 years of Marina Koval, Shannon was the father of Jennifer (Samuel) Nicholas, Alina (Tim Kalchinov) Zhigailova, Emily (Chancellor) Morris, Maggie (Kenneth Halloway) Fontanilla, Eva Fontanilla; dear grandfather to Gracie, Dawson, Arthur Nicholas and Amir and Alim Kalchinov; soldier, loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, husband, and friend.
Shannon served his country for many years and was so proud of it, and loved every moment of his service.
A private visitation service will be held at the St. Louis Cremation Chapel on Monday, November 8 from 1 pm to 5 pm. A military funeral at Jefferson Barracks will be held at a later date.

    Shannon was a good friend back in the 5th/6th grade (1981/82) at A.M. Winn Elementary in Rancho Cordova. So sorry to hear of his passing.
