Sharon A. Avenevoli went to be with our Lord on September 1, 2021.
Sharon passed away on her husband’s birthday, after a courageous fight with Parkinson’s Disease. She was a mother of two girls, Tracy J. Dunn of Southern Illinois and Lisa A. Avenevoli of Florissant, Missouri. She been married Eugene Avenevoli on March 6, 1965, and has enjoyed 56 wonderful years of marriage.

She fought Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, and Parkinson’s Disease. She was a true fighter. She had a smile that would light up a room, a love of music, her Dachshund Annie, her family, and her relationship with our Lord. She enjoyed reading, shopping, movies, laughing, Elvis Presley, and Neil Diamond. She was a very caring person, who always “Asked how you were doing?” even if she didn’t know you. She didn’t know a stranger.

Sharon had been bedridden the last four years of her life and her husband Gene and Daughter Lisa took great care of her. Parkinson’s took a lot from her but never her drive to keep going. She lived to be 82 years old, a beautiful mom who will be so missed.

She leaves behind her husband, two daughters, her beloved dog Annie, a sister, a niece, cousins, friends, and her church family. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
